great work.Woman have really been told so much by doctors that we believe everything they say.I need to read that book cause i too have a fibroid at 28!

  • battygirl1:

Thanks for this information. I truly feel bad for what happened to her; however, she should have done more investigation before hand. Doctors are human … then are not God. I know three women who have had this procedure done… they are all doing fine. I am having this procedure done this summer. I have 2 children, I’m over 40, and I don’t want anymore kids…my periods are 29 days long and hysterectomy is definitely out of the question. I will be buried with my uterus.

  • 6miranda0:

Thanks. I totally share your thoughts. I had endometriosis and doctors wanted to operate me. No way! I will be burried as battygirsl wrote with my uterus. I have cured myself of endometriosis and do not believe in the current medical paradigm. Not at all!

  • DBCrowns:

what year did this happen to her because now they know how to do it better don’t they? I think it was 85 when they started this precedure 20 years. they must be better now??? right???

The primary message of Kellee’s book is to educated yourself about all the possible outcomes, risks, and less invasive alternatives before consenting to having a procedure done, even if your physician recommends it. Women’s health issues have been historically understudied and misdiagnosed. Your health is ultimately your responsibility. No one cares about your body more than you do.

  • DBCrowns:

I know I have to take care of me.. But I Want the right treatment and I don’t want to get a hysterectomy because it’s too invasive. I though ufe would be good becaue you heal in 3 days or so. What are some more complacation.. I have been researching

  • Luciacovelli:

Thank you for this important message. Doctors have been cashing in on “female” conditions for decades at the expense of our lives.

  • Luciacovelli:

Having also been used as a human guinea pig at Massachusetts General Hospital by their plastic surgery clinic, I can relate to the emotional trauma and deep mistrust of the medical profession as a result. I am going out to by this book today.

  • FarroWife:

    Well ladies,
I have a fibroid right now because I just had a baby four days ago. When I get rid of it, I well let you know how I did it.
Give me a minute. But if you want to know what I did to still have my baby with this large fibroid. I will tell you that story now. Just email me at farrowife@gmail,com Subject: I want answers. Be blessed ladies.

  • eratocharter:

The radiologists I spoke to perform these UFEs every couple of months. If there really was something wrong with the procedure itself, it would have been banned by now. The procedures are not the problem.

This video is a plug for a book. Remember that.

I have one big and several smaller fibroids at 27. I am still researching but I dont know what to do…

  • sharonmaybell:

My uterine fibroid embolization went fine. I had it done by AN EXPERIENCED RADIOLOGIST named Dr. Carmen Martinez in Ventura California at VCMC-and I have since gone on with my life. Ladies PLEASE UNDERSTAND that your gynecologist looses money AND A FUTURE CUSTOMER to the radiologist with ufe…so they tend to’ play it down as an option’ when mentioning it -IF they do at all. they want you on shots- strong birth control pills-dig around on my uterus etc..scare tactics…ANYTHING BUT A RADIOLOGIST

  • sharonmaybell:

I had one huge grapefruit in my uterus- i refused to be castrated over it! GYNOS use SCARE TACTICS to get you to jump thru their hoops.LG FIBROIDS ARE BENG USED AS ‘AN EXCUSE’ TO DO unnecessary HYSTERECTOMIES-they use the blood to scare you even more-jello like blood clots in my toilet…I HAD TO GO TO EMERGENCY ROOM FOR BLOOD TRANSFUSSIONS. I REFUSED ANY’ EMERGENCY OPERATIONS ‘they wanted to rush me off to-& WENT HOME TO RESEARCH- UFE WAS MY CHOICE.i am fine now. (DEPENDS work for the blood)

  • sharonmaybell:

Embolization itself, has been done for years in France to stop blood flow during operations on other parts of the body.

  • sharonmaybell:

I wished i would have skipped 3 months of gyno hell & just had a ufe right away. It was so easy. They give you morphine pump for 2 hours after. then Use 2 -3 motrins a day…easy

  • 16bbiggins:

Thank you mam for letting me know about the horror about having an embolization. I too have fibroids but I choose to consume the herbs instead of going under the knife. You see I was getting preped to have a myomectomy but because my great aunt told me she was not going to take care of me if I had surgery so the good LORD drove me to the Natural Health Clinic in Los Angeles CA. on Collisium and La Brea
